What's in your Inbox?

Hello again, my quarantine friends. Even though we are still home, and perhaps not much has changed in our daily schedules, it feels so different, 7 weeks later. We are now in May, each turn of the calendar feeling like progress, change, something different and better is just around the corner.




One thing that we all wake up to and can relate to is our Inbox. It is with us throughout the day, sometimes we peek at it, sometimes we stare at it for long stretches of time. It’s there when we need to work, when we need a break or when we need to connect. We feel productive when we check it, read it, answer it, delete it or act upon it.

So, what’s in it? If I were to take your beloved phone, I could learn so much about you. Who you interact with the most, who you hang out with, your family, friends, what you eat, where you shop, what your hobbies and interests are, and what podcasts are filling your brain on the multiple walks you take through these long days.

I’m honored to be part of the scroll, maybe the click, perhaps the skim, the full read (if I’m lucky and engaging enough).

Soon before COVID, I cleaned out my inbox, did a sweep of unsubscribing, and was left with what truly resonates with me.

So here are some things that have happily stayed in my inbox, in case it inspires you to take a look at yours.
