So, the first list has a price, a cost-whether it is monetary (and yes, even scrolling through Insta is a financial drain-you're either spending money by clicking on a shiny ad or being influenced to spend that money later). Or whether the price is feeling awful the next day, low energy, lack of sleep, feeling isolated and disconnected, and maybe a little more broke.
The second list is low cost, high energy, stimulating, motivating and uplifting.
Which do you dip into more? The online shopping or hearing your (mom/sister/brother/aunt/best friend from 3rd grade's) voice on the phone?
Just as we need to fill ourselves with nutritious food, we also need to fill ourselves with nutritious activities.
All the green juice and yoga pants in the world will not make you happier, healthier or more successful.
