It's January, so you might be feeling a little more flighty. It's Vata Season, according to Ayurveda. So, it's drier, airier and you may be feeling less grounded.
Here are 3 things to do in this Vata Season to find more balance, and yes, less salad.
1. Ditch the salad
Or you can cook your salad. Your veggies are digested better when they are warm and cooked this time of year.
I promise Netflix isn't going anywhere, you don't need to watch it all right now. Get on a regular sleep schedule, ideally sleeping 10pm-6am. No need to argue with me about those times, do what works, do your best.
3. Fill Your Cup
Not just your coffee cup, how about your tea cup? Chop up the fresh ginger, or just drop a slice of lemon in hot water. It is soothing, warming, and may call you to be still while you wait for it to cool slightly, giving you a pause in your day. You know, the break you never seem to give yourself.
